AMERICAN HORROR STORY creator Ryan Murphy has announced that the seventh series of the show will be a “modern-day story” beginning on the night of the last US Presidential election.
Murphy confirmed that the cast will include fan favourites Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters as well as Billie Lourd of Scream Queens who also happens to be the daughter of the late Carrie Fisher.
As well as that, Ryan Murphy welcomed Lena Dunham to the American Horror Story family yesterday.
The collective reaction is probably not what he anticipated…
The move might make sense if the next season was set to be American Horror Story: Dog Ownership.
The disapproval on Twitter is really intense.
Someone even asked Sarah Paulson “What is happening here?” after they saw the news, to which she responded “Magic and dream of all dreams.”
It was met with this reaction GIF (fans are also equally disappointed that Lady Gaga won’t return to the next season).
There are a couple of people happy with her arrival to the show.
The approval doesn’t appear to be as passionate as the anger about the decision though.
